Undergraduate Admissions: Mississippi College

Now is the time to reserve your space for Freshman Orientation Session II at Mississippi College. Session I is identical to Session II, so feel free to register for either date.

Orientation is your opportunity to meet other new students, be advised by a faculty member, register for fall classes, and learn important information about coming to college. If you plan on living on campus this fall, you can stay in a residence hall Friday night to get a feel for dorm life.

How to Register for Freshmen Orientation II:
Download the Orientation Packet. Please print the packet then return the following items together by June 27, 2008 to:

Checklist for Orientation (included in the Orientation packet).
Registration Fee. Enclose $65 for each student and $30 for each additional family member. Add a $10 late registration fee to your total if your registration is postmarked after June 27. Make checks payable to Mississippi College.
Information Sheet for Incoming Freshmen (included in the Orientation packet).

Your reservation is not complete until we receive all three items listed above. If you do not return these items by July 3, you must attend regular registration on August 25th.

Suggestions for a Freshman's First Semester Class Schedule (included in the Orientation packet). Your advisor will give you more specific information before you register.
List of Items for Overnight: If you're spending the night in a residence hall you'll need a sleeping bag or sheets for an extra-long twin bed, towels, and a pillow.
Clothing: Please remember to bring cool clothing and comfortable shoes. You will do
a good bit of walking, and Mississippi summers are very warm. Some of our optional activities can get pretty active, so pack some athletic wear.
Check In Between 5 and 6 p.m.: To check in, report to Anderson Hall on the 2nd floor of B.C. Rogers Student Center.
